Research Scientist Position Available at Goddard


The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Goddard Earth Sciences and Technology (GEST) Center is currently seeking a research associate to study the horizontal and vertical variability of clouds and their consequences on atmospheric radiative fluxes and the radiation budget. The successful candidate must possess a PhD in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physics, or a related field. Experience with Fortran 90, IDL, Matlab, Unix shell script, and a familiarity with netCDF and HDF formats is desired.
