NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is currently seeking candidates for a variety of entry-level scientific positions in their Earth Sciences Division, including: computer engineer, physical scientist, physicist, chemist, meteorologist, and oceanographer.
Earth Science positions are involved in the development of future remote sensing missions and aircraft experiments; in defining new or modifying existing sensing instrumentation used to obtain data on the characteristics and phenomena of the Earth’s atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere, and biosphere; in developing algorithms to retrieve geophysical quantities needed to model and predict the Earth’s System behavior; and in developing systems and tools to generate, validate, and visualize information from Earth Science missions and models.
