The physical oceanography department at the University of South Florida, College of Marine Science, currently has positions available for students seeking a Masters in Science or a PhD. Tuition and a graduate research assistantship are available. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to explore some of the greatest challenges currently facing climate research, such as hurricane prediction, geophysical dynamics and turbulence, and global climate change. Subjects of study include biological oceanography, chemical oceanography, geological oceanography, and physical oceanography.
