DOE Seeks Physical Scientist


The U.S. Department of Energy is seeking applicants for a physical scientist to assist the division director and program managers in the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures that govern the administration of research funds. The successful candidate must have appropriate education and at least one year experience performing duties related to policies, procedures, and scientific methods in the area of climate and environmental sciences.

This position is full-time permanent status and resides in Germantown, Maryland. The successful candidate will serve as liaison between the programs and contracts and grants; assist with scientific workshops used for program planning and evaluation, including on-site reviews and annual meetings; and serve as an external point of contact regarding program goals, policies, and practices.
