Welcome to the AMF2 Blog for STORMVEX! We’re sort of new at this so please be patient with us, as we – your bloggers, Brad Orr, Rich Coulter, and Mike Ritsche – warm up to this new task. Today we arrived in Denver and evaded any delays due to forest fires on our way to Steamboat Springs in time to make a visit to the Thunderhead Mountain Site.  We discussed reorienting the Operations van and then visited the Valley site, where the four shipping containers had already arrived, awaiting unloading in the morning.  Had a festive dinner with Ian and Gannet from Storm Peak Lab before retiring.
