Busy and productive few days. Offloaded the four containers at the Valley site yesterday in preparation for moving two of them up the mountain soon. Everything survived trip a-okay, with the AMF2 modules gleaming away in the sunshine during unpack. We feel like proud parents.

Today the valley site was “weed whacked” so we could begin installing equipment. As we noted yesterday during prep for the ops van installation, the ground here is really hard. So far so good, and the weather has been ausgezeichnet! Tomorrow begins the trek up the mountain with the ops van and scanning cloud radar, and we’ll begin initial site layout and installation at the Thunderhead site. We’ve noticed a lot of hot air balloons around; maybe they’ll see us?
